Request for Yosemite Area information

“Maybe some of you Sacto people can help a friend of mine from Holland. His daughter is getting married and wants to stay near Yosemite for one week of her honeymoon (in July)...somewhere "between Sacramento and Yosemite" he said. He asked if I could recommend a place to stay.

Can anyone recommend a hotel/motel/B&B or the like somewhere in the general Yosemite area that I could pass on? I don't know how much they are budgeting, but my guess is they are not looking for extravagance.

Try the Pines Resort at Bass Lake. It's just outside of Oakhurst and 12 miles South of Wawona. You have your choice of a hotel, Chalet or B&B. For closer to Yosemite, try the Tenaya Lodge by Fish Camp. Hope this helps.”
