“spam....yes, the first part of the trail is bald and most of it is ridge...nice and easy....then when you get into the shining rocks wilderness...it will smell like christmas...:)

“hiking in at night on this trail is not a problem...especially if the moon is not hidden by clouds.
that is why i chose this route in.....since i would be arriving late friday, it is pretty straight forward.
