Also a Boy Scout pocket knife, tent stakes, large MSR fuel bottle, and tampons.” 9:47:19 AM 8/25/01 RE: Things I have found while hiking “A knife, lip balm, a Boy Scout knife, a Boy Scout shirt, a stray dog, an unfired bullet, a sleeping bag, a shredded stuff sack, a water bottle, a bandana, a religious tract, four large rusted animal traps, a pair of children's gloves, a ski pole snow basket, various lengths of nylon rope, a dead copperhead snake, a dead bat, various animal bones, countless pieces of used toilet tissue, countless granola bar wrappers, a large bag of uncooked rice, an old rusted broken water pump, an old log sled, a rusted-out 1955 Ford Fairlane, a rusted-out Volkswagen Beetle, the extant plane wreckage on Wright Mountain in the Adirondacks.
