Mojo Crystal I found it and I was soooo.... tempted to take it and then I thought of the Backpacking Mojo, like Madam Pele in Hawaii. I had to leave it in the mountains. I left it, but not where any bozo can take it. I left it where somebody could only find it accidentally, or if I show it to them. I did an overnighter from the upper Sandia Peak Tram terminal, Topozone Map North Crest Trail, 10K, Osha Loop with several exploratory branches and camped on Osha Loop. I haven't heard of any mysterious instances of bad luck plagueing geologists who collect samples. Consider that this crystal may have been revealed to you because you were the right one to find it -- that's why it has mojo for you. It may have wanted to join up with you. Although if you have hidden it and it keeps drawing you back to that location, then perhaps it is working its mojo on you to make you part of the Sandias. The bastard sleeping in it claimed he found it first or something to that effect so I reluctantly let him keep it.
