Isla Dominicana

“Wow, I can?t believe I am back already. Where did all the time go?!? woe and sorrows, I want my island back!
Dominican Republic is a backpacker?s paradise! The job wasn?t exactly what I had hoped, but my time there was amazing nonetheless. I cannot wait to return to this beautiful place and probably will within the next year.

For now, I am homeless, hence I have no internet access (I am posting from the library in York, PA, shudder). So, I probably won?t be TT?in regular-like or nuthin, but I just HAD to stop in and say hi to all of my fine friends (and you too, bacpac...awww, smooch)!

I can?t wait to get some pics scanned and some stories shared. Soon, I hope! I had so many wonderful adventures in DR. I climbed Pico Duarte, the highest peak in the Caribbean and certainly the highest I?ve ever climbed at 10, 128 feet. That was an incredible 3 days! I also had opportunities to appreciate some other beautiful areas of the Island, along with some escapades in the capitol city of Santo Domingo. More trip tidbits coming, but for now my time is up. Time to return to my cardboard box in the park.

So, what did I miss here? Somebody give me an update?!
