ECT Trip - Speed hikers only

“This Winter I'm planning to thru-hike the North-South Trail at LBL (Land Between the Lakes). The trail is 60+ miles. I'm going to allow myself 4 days to do it but shooting for 3.

Any takers?”

“NO speed hiking here, but you know I'll run shuttle service for you!”

“LBL 2001 Trip Report:

Day 1: Dude and Bacpac set out on the trail.

Day 3: Bacpac shows up at the other end, blood spattered and mumbling semi-coherently about Dude being "charged by this big old grizzly, came out of the bushes and Dude ran off, heard a scream about a mile away but couldn't find him."

Dude's body is never found. Neither is the weapon.”

“Just jokin bacpac. I think it would be good for you to go on an ECT and meet some of us. Of course Dude will expect you to keep up as he shifts into overdrive and fires up the afterburners. LOL

BTW some of us Ark/La/Tx folks have been kicking around the idea of a winter ECT in the Ozarks. Think you'd be up to that?”
