Yosemite on fire.....Again?!
Yosemite has been the focal point of several forest fires over the last 10 days.

It seems there is a new one burning over 12,000 acres, and located in the Llyle Fork of the Tuolumne.

This is the section of the John Muir Trail running from Tuolumne Meadows to Donohue Pass.

My husband was out soaking in the local hot springs early this AM, and happened to talk to a gal who works for the park service over in the Valleywho gave him this news.

If you have plans to hike in this area, please consult the latest reports from Yosemite.

RE: Yosemite on fire.....Again?!
I just got back from Yosemite. Smoke settled into the Valley pretty bad at night and didn't clear up until the following afternoon. We cut our 3 day trip down to a 2-day trip because we got tired of breathing in the smoke.
