Speaking of Trojans....

While in a mens room in Maryville, TN they had a dispenser on the wall. In big letters it said, "Freedom Ticklers"

My wife wondered why the heck I came out of the mens room laughing.

That's just sick, Pixie. That kind of activity would just create more Trojans for Notre Dame to have to kick the crap out of.

I'd rather be the color of money...
...than the color of moldy corn (Blue & Maize).... University of Michigan.... Bleah......

Go Green! Go White!!
Go Michigan State University!!
At least MSU has a real fight song! :-)

I personally root for MSU and whomever is playing against Michigan that week..... ;-) Although in the case of the Notre Dame games against U of M, it's hard to root for either....

Good for you Bowlder!
But here's the beginning of the song....

On the banks of the Red Cedar,
Is a school that's known to all,
Its specialty is winning,
And those Spartans play good ball,
Spartan Teams are never beaten,
All thru the game they fight,
Fight for the only colors,
Green and White!

Go right thru for M S U,
Watch the points keep growing,
Spartan teams are bound to win, they're fighting with a vim,
Rah! Rah! Rah!

See their team is weakening,
We're going to win the game,
Fight! Fight! Rah! Team Fight!
Victory for M S U,

*Up with the colors,
Unfurl them on high!
Fight! Rah! Team Fight!

*most people in recent years don't sing these last 3 lines....

Here's a link! :-)

Texas Tech this week. Get ready for the Air Attack. Last week UNM did everything better than WSU except turnovers. Outran, outpassed and out defensed. Should be a glorious ABQ evening.

MSU? Never heard of ‘em! There is another school besides UofM in Michigan?

My heart belongs to Michigan but my ass belongs to the outdoors. I won’t get to see the Michigan/Notre Dam game Saturday because I’ll be floating down the Huron in the kayak. I’m sooo torn! :(

I feel bad for Bowden and the tragedy his family has gone through, but I'm not too sad that FSU lost tonight.

The only way it could have went down better is if Miami, somehow, could also have lost.

Temp in the tailgate lot will be ~90F. 6pm kickoff won't be much cooler, but 20% humidity won't be bad. Fans in Loboland seem to be optimistic about Texas Tech after the performance against Washington State. Sunset on the Sandias will be spectacular, fireworks and 9/11 commemoration I am sure.

I went to the Stanford game against the Fightin' Mormons last night. Couldn't stay for the whole game, but did get to see:

1) Our guy run back a kickoff for 99 yards for our first TD;

2) Our guy run about 300 yards to gain 76 on 1st down from our own 3 yard line;

3) The Stanford band make two polygamy jokes during the halftime show, culminating with "...and your Stanford Dollies (the dance team) are Suzy, Jane, Becky, Cathy, and Annie, otherwise known as Mrs. Hennessey...."

We've now outscored our opponents 80-13 so far on the year. Not bad for a team picked to finish 14th in the Pac 10....

TRADITION!!!

Yessir that's what it's all about! Notre Dame has it, Michigan doesn't.

That game was all about tradition. Tradition won that game. Notre Dame never forgot their winning tradition. It's a pitty that Michigan doesn't have the tradition that Notre Dame has. Yessir, winning games is all about tradition.

Anybody know how Yale fared?

HAHA!! The guy who’s team has, what?, maybe a 20 year tradition of winning making cracks about the #1 And #2 teams in wins and winning percentages? What a savant! What are your views on quantum physics and it’s effects on modern science discoveries and exploration into new nanotech fields?

So much so that ABC turned off the end of my game to show Clemson. I guess the 42-0 score was just too boring for their audiences.

But heck, I ain't complaining.

Violin, you just had the rug pulled out. That was a crying shame. It was a mix of poor play calling and Rutger's thinking they could just show up. What a heartbreak after a great start. I expect them to learn something from that debacle... let's hope.

"Arc, after a few more years of Zook ball all you'll have to talk about any more is tradition"

Like you and your sorry team with ugly uniforms, Dayhiker?

What do a Bama fan and a maggot have in common?

They can both live off a dead bear for twenty years.

Hail to the dickwads vanquished... Hail to the loosers, piss-ants… Hail, Hail to Michigan the loosers and chumps.

Nope, sorry Nigal. I’m not a Michigan dickwad. My team has just been consistently better than yours. And has been for quite a few years. Bawhawhawhaw!

OK, now where’s the cry about Oklahoma running up the score on lowly Houston? 63-13 and no one is whining about the Okeys running up the score like they do most every week they play against weak opponents? Oh, that’s right, Spurrier isn’t coaching Oklahoma. And since the media isn’t yelling about it, the mindless morons in fanville don’t think it’s an issue…

NOW THAT’S OBNOXIOUS!!!

I started to watch that game, OK v Houston. Houston scored first and made it look easy.
