Mountain Biking
Don't you just love a good trail that has loads of hills! I love that feeling when you are at the top of a hill and you rapidly increase speed and you almost feel like you're going to fly right off of your bike but you don't and you make it to the bottom of the hill only to find yourself shooting up another hill, repeating the entire process, over and over and over and over.

Phew!

RE: Mountain Biking
Yep! Nothing like climbing on the old "bike" for a good stiff workout! (Jeez, give us a break, some of us are still at work)

If any of y'all are ever in central OH, you gotta ride the FREE trails of Vulture's Knob.

RE: Mountain Biking
I PUMP the tires to the correct PRESSURE so they don't EXPLODE. I monitor my pedal STROKE, esepcially when the trail is HARD. Sometimes, the brakes SQUEAL when they are WET.

No doubt about it. Mountain biking and sex are inexplicably intertwined.

RE: Mountain Biking
The RYTHMIC motion of the pedals GLIDING up and down as you gently FLOW over the trail, slowly INCREASING SPEAD just enough to allow your BODY to reach that EXPLOSIVE LEVEL, where you hit the CLIMAX of your RIDE, peddling HARDER and HARDER, PULSING in and out of turns, GRINDING over rocks, and then finding yourself close to the trailHEAD from whence you began, easing your heart rate back down to a tolerable pace. . .only to DO IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.

RE: Mountain Biking
You guys just like it because of the CHAINS. Not to mention that every spoke has a NIPPLE. And if you taco your wheel on a rock or log, you'll just have to get a RIM job.

Is it true that sex is like a bicycle? Once you learn, you never forget? I'm starting to worry that I might not remember.

RE: Mountain Biking
I think I'm getting too old for those bright, sporty, newer models. At my age, I think I'd be happy with a spoke. *pitifull*
