Anybody else have to work today?

“Does anybody else have to work today? Or am I the only person on the planet as well as in this building that's working today?”

“Not me. I have the summer off.

If it makes you feel any better, my wife worked today starting at 7 a.m.”

“Fooling around in my office, it's surprising how many others are also in doing email...we're not alone!”

“Well, now that I get to go home, it's good to know I had company today. Maybe I should have hit the trail sooner.”

“Bye guys, don't work too hard.”

“I slept for 12 hours last night, woke up today at 12, had a yodell for breakfast, right now I'm having a hamberger, and iced tea. I plan on taking a nap in 15 minutes then play vidio games until 12 o'clock, and repeat the procces tomorrow.”

“No working here but I am on call all weekend.

Sounds like Ice Tea has the plan. Works for me.”

“I think I need to trade jobs with Ice Tea. What do you say, can we cut a deal?”

“I'm going to follow 'Tea's lead and go take a nap. Wake me if you think of anything constructive to do with the rest of the day.”

“Oh' look at the time, I think its time for a movie, or book.”

“There have been more people in my home today than ever in an entire week. That would be such a good thing if the weren't all my son's friends. Somebody help me.”

“Crap, got called in for 4 hours.”

“That's about how long I had to go in today. Sucks doesn't it? It could be worse. We could work at McDonalds or Walmart and have to work the entire weekend.”

“I'm glad I don't work there.”

“I worked at McD's for a short while in college. Worse than death.”

“I need a job.”

“McDonalds is always hiring. Of course, there's a reason for that.”

“I never want to say the words "would you like fries with that". I want a respectable job.”

“I had clients for rock climbing...been up from 5:30am till 7:30pm (just got home) I know some of you will say "that's not work, that's playing".....trust me its work.

Now tomorrow I'm going climbing with friends, that's play time!!!!

For now, I'm going to follow Tea's lead...some times you gotta do what's right.”

Went to see "Curse of the Jade Scorpion" last night... great movie. Funny, definitely in the 40's style, with Helen Hunt, Woody Allen, David Allen Stiers... take a date.”

“I'm here at work and top it off I'm the only one on site and there is nothing wrong.

I used to be my own boss too, but then my "partner" decided to give himself several undocumented raises.”

“I just woke up, I think I will have some eggs, then play vidio games, check TT, check my mail, have lunch, take a nap, read my book, and well see where my day takes me from there.”

“i work 3rd shift and am scheduled to work labor day, so i am currently resting in preparation for going in to work at 11:30 tonight....the only good thing about it is that i get triple time for working the holiday (or double time and an extra vacation day!!)”

Yesterday was a total waste of my time. Got called in cause a senior vice president didn't know how to use a web browser and thought the site was broken. Sheeseh, at least I'm getting overtime for it.”
