Description

I have to get out for a backpacking trip this weekend. It is a must.

I am finishing up the AT in Maryland. I need to do 23 miles from the PA state line to Alt. US 40. This is considered to be one of the easiest sections on the entire Appalachian Trail.

We'll be meeting at the South Mountain Inn on Alt. 40 and camping at the backpacker campsite on Friday night and then Saturday morning shuttling up to Penmar at the PA/MD line and backpacking 14 miles south to the Pogo Campsite.

On Sunday, we'll continue hiking south another 9 miles to Alt. US 40.
