Description

I have a permit for 5 people to stay at backcountry cs#23 on Saturday night, April 28. I've got three spots spoken for, including myself. So, two spots are left. If you want to join us, sign up here. First two people get the spots :-)

The trip:
Take off from Clingman's Dome Saturday morning (time to be determined) and head to Double Springs Gap. From DS Gap, we'll head down the Goshen Prong Trail to cs#23 for the night. Distance: 6.3 miles

Sunday, we'll head for the Little River Trail and go out at Elkmont. Distance: 6.7 miles

Somewhere along the way (Saturday) we should pass a cave. And wildflowers should be plentiful. The Little Brown Book says cs#23 is a pretty campsite, too.

Right now, other than myself, it will be Ewker and Eman going.
