trips - RRG - Rough and Swift Camp Creek TrailsTrip Info
DescriptionI would like to hike the Rough and Swift Camp Creek Trails at the Gorge again. I did it a few years ago with Crash Bang and it was a good hike. I will come down on Friday night after work. We can either do a shuttle then or first thing Saturday morning. If we start on the Rough Trail side, a natural stopping point seems to be the creek crossing after we cross into Clifty Wilderness, otherwise known as "The Pines." There is a parking lot at the end of the hike. I don't know a spot off hand, but it might be a good idea to camp there Friday night and just drive to the starting point Saturday morning. Being Red River Gorge, I'm sure there will be a whole bunch of camp sites right off the road for Friday. ductape11@yahoo.com
