trips - Shirley Creek TrailTrip Info
DescriptionLast minute trip to Southern Indiana trail-Shirley Creek. *I've been wanting to do this trail for a long time* The links below have driving directions, a trail map and other info. I haven't been on this trail before, but have been told its a pretty good hike by the crashster. The mileage for the whole trail is 19 miles, but this includes the conector trails. So the perimeter trail is less..by my guesstimation 14. And it can be broken into smaller distances if needed, but will be at least 10+ miles of POSSIBLEY STRENUOUS hiking. I am checking with the HNF to find out more on segment mileage. -Friday nite camping can be done at the trailhead- car campground.
