Description

I now have about a 12 mile 'gap' between VA RT 50 and the Bear's Den Hostel and would like to fill that Gap.

My plan would be to get to VA 50 early Friday afternoon and hike up to the Hostel, getting there Friday night.

Saturday/Sunday would consist of ANY OF THE FOLLOWING.. A 20 mile hike to Harper's Ferry, OR driving to Harper's Ferry and spending time there, OR hiking/biking the C&O canal, OR driving to Antietam Battlefield. There is a 12 mile historical hike around the battlefield. We can do dinner Saturday at the Armory Pub in HP.

I have a call into the Beer's Den Hostel to see about availability, but I plan on camping.

Alcohol in and around the hostel is 'prohibited'.
