Description

Plan to hike the entire loop in less than 2.5 days and hammer out the miles. Begin Fri afternoon/early evening. Trail is easy/moderate in difficulty.

I intend to begin at the eastern side of the loop, at PA 504.

Trail has some nice views, scenic streams, rhododendron jungles, bogs, and good camping.

There should be plenty of water during this time of year.

This trail was mentioned in the recent article of backpacker magazine.
