Description

Tentative plans to hike a good portion of this 36 mile linear trail.

Start point: Clear Lake rd / trail intersection, end point Silver Lake day-use area.

Note: We may opt to start further east, and park at Loveland rd. versus, getting dropped off at Clear Lake rd.

Total trip mileage approx 22-26 miles,depending on start point.

This trip could be started on a Friday evening or Saturday morning. If starting Friday evening we'd hike approx. 2.5-3.5 miles staying at either the Horseman's CG or Sugarloaf Lake CG.

Saturdays night camp will be at Green Lake CG hiking 9-10 miles

Sunday will be approx 13 miles to the finish at Silver Lake
