Description

The plan is to paddle across Lake Placid and set up camp near Whiteface Landing. Hike up Whiteface via the Whiteface Brook Slide and then take the trail back down to camp.

Alternately if you don't own a boat or don't want to paddle Lake Placid there is a trail that starts near Connery Pond that leads to Whiteface Landing.
