trips - mount rogers, va - november 2003Trip Info
Descriptionseems i've been getting down here every november for the last few years, so i'm headed back again. i don't have any route planned yet. i am open to suggestions if any one has any thing they need to see. two years ago it was fairly nice in november, last year it was very cold and wet, so be prepared. this is the highest elevations in virginia and much of the high country is balds. awesome views (if the weather agrees). also some great hardwood forest and the hike to the evergreen capped top of viriginia is really neat. i'll posted route type stuff shortly but will probably allow that there will be longer and shorter routes to the same camp areas.
