trips - Baxter SnowBall/MuckFest 2004Trip Info
DescriptionMinimum group size is 3, maximum group size is 10. Wednesday, March 24 - slumber party at twigeater's! :) Thursday, March 25 - drive to Patten, enjoy Dysart's breakfast along the way, trek 4.2 miles into Trout Brook Farm. Friday, March 26 - trek into South Branch Pond bunkhouse, 7 miles. Saturday, March 27 - whatever. There is North Traveler and Black Cat for mountains, and Howe Brook and others for flat hikes. Sunday, March 28 - hike out 11 miles to Matagamon Wilderness Cabins for post hike party. Monday, March 29 - leave Patten :( Reservation fees apply. BSP bunkhouse, $18 per person, per night, payable to me anytime. Matagamon Cabins $20 per person, per night, to be paid upon arrival at the cabin. The total for all four nights is $74 each. BSP winter info In addition to providing emergency info, we must each carry a picture ID. I'll e-mail directions to my house and to the Matagamon cabins to everyone, and ask for emergency info once we get closer to the trip. trip thread LNT
