Description

Seeking hiking partners for a late summer / fall trip for 2-3 hikers lasting a week (plus) in beautiful Denali's north-side backcountry. The hope is that the trip will be a not-too-technical Alpine trip -- high(er) up, and hopefully drier than some other hikes, and hopefully the group can stay high up as a single unit; however, depending on the group's size and park availability, the group may be split up into subgroups by the rangers, and one or more of the subgroups may have to hike a zone that is not high and dry, so one should be prepared to hike a less than desirable zone. Some members of one of the subgroups might have to bushwhack some of the way, so be ready for the woods and be ready for wet weather through the woods.

The September schedule is flexible, yet hikers wanting to go on the trip need to plan on hiking sometime closer to the end of the park's official season.

More details will be available in 2004 spring and summer; moreover, we'll know more as we organize the hike.
