Description*** Dates for this trip have changed! *** Now August 27 - 31 This is a spectacular trip into the Southern portion of the Wind Rivers. We'll hike to Big Sandy lake, then over Jackass pass to the incomparable Cirque of the Towers. Then up the Lizard head trail to Valentine lake, over to Grave Lake. Then we'll climb over Hailey pass and return to the Big Sandy Trailhead via Mae's, Marm's, and Dad's lakes. Day 1 Big Sandy Opening to Big Sandy Lake 5.3 miles Day 2 Big Sandy Lake to Lizard Head Meadows 5.2 miles Day 3 Lizard Head Meadows to Valentine Lake 10.5 miles Day 4 Valentine Lake to Skull Lake 11.5 miles Day 5 Skull Lake to Big Sandy Opening 10 miles
