DescriptionThe Cheese Factory campsite is near Hiawassee, Ga. from highway 17/75 (about 15-20 minutes south of hiawasse and a mile and a half north of unicoi gap), take usfs road 283. it is on the east side of the highway. usfs 283 heads south and east for about 15 minutes. a few minutes after crossing the AT, make a sharp left on usfs road 79. in a few minutes you will cross the AT again. shortly after that, you will see a parking area next to a water source and across from a blue-blazed trail. park there and walk across the road up the blue-blazed trail to cheese factory campsite. email me for map scottfchr@aol.com home 765 453 7893 cell 765 271 4857
