trips - Pinhoiti (AL) hike this weekendTrip Info
DescriptionThis weekend I'm doing a hike in prep for the Smokies deathmarch. Friday afternoon I'll start around 2 or 3 and hike from Turnipseed down to Chinnabee and then take the Skyway Loop Trail to a nice campsite 2 miles short of Adams. This will be about 9 miles. Saturday I'll get up early and hit Adams Gap and then head north to the state park parking lot and then loop back on Cave Creek trail and back to Turnipseed. I'll be camping off trail along a creek just outside Turnipseed. 20 miles for Sat. I have to be home Sunday morning by 8 am and will be getting up around 6 on Sun. Any takers?
