Heck, I couldn't even bear opening this thread for a week. Belichek was absolutely outcoached every gamble he took failed and he kind of painted his team into a corner. Mega-bummer - but the Super Bowl should be great! (Though I might be out hiking)

What a goat#@$%. From the stupid Michael Douglas thing to Christina Aguilera butchering the National Anthem to Jerry Jones selling $200 to stand around outside the stadium to a boring game.

Jones' box was a whose who of GOP!

I won't say the game was boring but it wasn't quite what I thought it would be.

Christina and B.E.P. both stunk up the place

i heard about the $200 outside tickets - my only comment was "P.T. Barnum was right".

i kinda liked the Fegie/Slash rendition of Sweet Child. I thought she was gonna start to blow him right there on stage though.

I bet the corporate guys got a little nervous for a minute there.

what was up with the patriotic circle jerk pre-game?...a little goes a long way...this is the superbowl, not the 4th of july

can't give up 3 turn overs w/ touch downs and expect to win

Rogers looked real cool and composed all game - it actually reminded me a lot of Brady in the Pats' first couple Super Bowl runs when people started saying "hey, this guy could be really good."

Really, though, the game could've gone either way. The Steelers were one completion from a first down on that last drive... and who knows what could've happened if they'd gotten it. I like Super Bowls that come down to the end like that.

I can't believe Rogers wasn't even recruited by any colleges coming out of High School.

I didn't watch any of the other stuff - pre-game, post-game, half-time - even the commercals. Maybe that's why I thought it was a good game (not great, but good) - definitely liked it that the Steelers had a legit chance to win it until under a minute to play.

No kidding. It's like they were saying the whole of American history was just leading up to this moment where we all unite under one cause and in one place.

It's people sitting around watching billionaire owners watching their millionaire players play a effing game. Geesh!

Yes, the Ravens bulldozed the Steelers today. Looking like a good season ahead for the purple and black.

So, I got the NFL Sunday Ticket package for Playstation 3 last week. I figured since I didn't have cable, it would be a great opportunity to watch football without heading to a friend's house or sports bar.

Today, after about an hour on the phone, I managed to cancel my subscription and get a full refund.

The first reason was that most of the good games throughout the season will be blacked out on Sunday ticket - Monday night, Sunday night, and Thursday games. I understand that this is because they're carried by regular networks, but this was never mentioned anywhere in the product description or I wouldn't have bought the damn thing (for $320). I figured the cost was worth it for all the games, but it's certainly far from a good value to just watch the Sunday morning/afternoon games...

Second, this last Sunday, every game was unwatchable. You'd get 3 seconds of crisp and clear action, followed by 5-10 minutes of buffering. My work pays for my internet connection, and it's bordering on obscenely fast, so this wasn't the problem.

So, in the off chance that any of you are considering this crappy service, let me be the first to warn you otherwise. Complete waste of money.

Are some games online? For free?

On the Colts....Manning doesn't play defense so as far as I could tell this wasn't far from unusual for them. Aren't they pretty much known for simply outscoring everyone else?

I'm really counting on the Lions to suck again this year in order to free up my Sundays. Hunting season starts tomorrow and I would much rather spend my weekends killing defenseless animals. Thankfully the Bears and Packers are in the same division.

you can't count on that this year...most of the "experts" are calling them to be pretty good this year...already 2-0

brady is firggin on fire this year...he's on pace to beat out his MVP performance of last year...colt mccoy set a record for most yards in the first two games of a season by any QB and brady broke it within 3 hours...speaking of colt, wow!, rookie?

what can you say about the colts?...the D stunk the first game, got a little better this week, but it just shows you that manning is much more than just someone who passes this ball...he runs that offense, and it's different than any other offense in the league...collins said he's never seen anything like it in his entire carrier...they're doing as good as can be expected for a team that has only had their qb for about 4 weeks and has had to completely revamp the way they operate
