Mary Richardson Kennedy

Hanged herself yesterday. She had four kids aged 11-17, same as mine.

Around 7:30 p.m., two women entered the property, one carrying flowers, the other hauling a tray and a bag of food.

"This is terrible," the woman with the flowers said, breaking into tears. "We don't need this."

I remember sitting in front of the tv as a child. I would turn the knob whenever my parents wanted the channel changed. This man definitely made my life easier!

I had the honor to sit in on one of his recording sessions. The wonderful man he was, he helped complete CD for a man who started recording with his son, but the son passed away due to cerebral palsy before they could finish. Doc was a good soul.

He was a really good actor whose characters really presented that idealized "ole Americana" "golden age of the grand USA" thing.

Enjoyed his work; just consumed it knowing that most of that imagery was just TV BS.

A ton today, other than Phyllis.

Tony Scott, director of Top Gun, etc. Diagnosed with brain cancer, decided to jump off of a bridge instead.

William Windom (a few days ago), did a bunch of stuff over the years.

A few more I can't remember right now.
