Audrey Marie Jackson “She was born on june 12 at 6:31 PM. A whopping 6lbs even. She is 19 inches long and has her mothers thick dark hair. Mother and child are both doing well. Kamper is tired as can be imagined. Audrey has been a bit fussy today. I can only imagine what a rough day she's had. She is beautiful and already owns my heart. We all slept soundly last night. Audrey fed a couple of times during the night. My job was to get her from the crib to mom and back (although I think she got her once while I slept). She visited the nursery this morning so the pediatrician could check her out. Kamper should be calling me with his assessment soon. Her poor little right foot was turned out from the way she was living in the womb. It'll sort itself out on its own (like her cute little cone head). I'm gonna head back to the hospital now. Thanks for all of your prayers, well wishes, good vibes, etc... We're staying an extra night so Audrey can get some photo therapy. Her bilirubin count as a bit high and her pediatrician wants to avoid jaundice. Angies Dr prescribed some massage therapy (how freakin cool is that? Baptist Hospital Rocks) and she got a hot shower, chicken fingers, a massage and a monster nap. She's doing well. I've been getting the in-laws settled in and now I'm back with my ladies. bye for now.
