Campsites in the Narrows
“I am a lover of hammock sleeping. Are there any trees at the campsites along the narrows? Perhaps medium sized boulders would suffice. Anyone been there?”

Do they let you camp in the Narrows? Isn't that the place where people drown every year, because of a rain storm 100 miles away?

The narrows actually have several campsites that at situated above the flood zone in the river. I just don't know if there are any trees on the sites.

It's been a couple years since I've been there last, but I do remember a handful of sites having some trees that would suffice. I only remember this because I strung up a clothesline to dry out the contents of my cousin's bag after he fell and completely dunked it... I want to say it was site 11. It's on the left bank of the river (going downriver), and it's a smaller site.

I may be able to confirm the site number when I get home. I'll let you know
