Welcome Aboard!
With arthritis getting in the way of much trail time anymore -- especially while carrying any kind of load -- the blue waters of the Great Lakes have been a wonderful alternative for outdoor adventure. Join us for some virtual sailing on Lake Michigan's Green Bay.

the web address!
For some reason, when I went to edit the message for my oversight (haste), it won't post the correction, so here's the website link: www.sailinggreenbay.net

Cool, I hope to learn to sail this spring. I bought a tiny boat that I need to work on this winter to get it ready. A trip to the British Virgin Islands taught me that I need to learn to sail.

I'll check out your site. Your quote at the top made me think of the book, "First You Have to Row a Little Boat."

I have always enjoy the "search for the little man in the boat"

Great..
Now, let me get this straight - You want all of us to sail with you on your sail boat!

XL, I usually do a decent job of translating danielese, but what the heck did that mean?

nowslimmer, you know you are welcome! Everything depends on the weather -- Reino starts logging potential crew visits early and we keep our fingers crossed.

But, of course, we know not everyone can drop by the marina at the right time, so a virtual sail via the website is something that always has "fair weather."

Oh, I'd have never gotten that reference. It may yet have to be explained to me...wait, I think I get it now.

2014?
Well, nowslimmer, I certainly plan to be around still, lol, though in 4 more years I'll have enough time in to start thinking about retirement (if the economy isn't still in the bag). The good thing is the boat is paid for and the wind is free (the latter cannot be said about the marina dockage).

Reino has an intense love affair with "her" boat. She just goes by Skipper now.
