Trails
does anybody know any trails where a person and their parents, can hike for a day, camp, and then hike out, back the way they came if necessary. eastern mass, is preferred (i live a half hour from the cape) but anything in the area will be a great help.
i love camping, and im sick of my parents trying to get me to go to campsites, and camp next to our car, with air mattresses and stoves, and other niceties.
i want to hike, and i want to camp.
any help will be appreciated.

Mostly people go outside Mass or to western Mass for that. You might search things like the DCR listings for something closer or go to: http://www.massvacation.com/outdoor/camping.php and see if there are any hike in sites.

Tully Lake in Eastern Mass has trails and camp sites:

I'm not sure which side of the Mass/NH border Windblown is - but there are shelters for rent on the Wapack trail which runs from Mass into New Hampshire:

Western MA you can get to the Appalachian trail and all kinds of places with hike in shelters and camping - southern Vermont on the AT/Long trail is just as close.
