Went for a bushwhack to the Leigh Meadows in Ricketts Glen on a crisp, snowy day. These are wet meadows that extend for over a mile from the breached Lake Leigh dam. A hidden gem in this popular park. The real highlight were the beautiful forests, with some old growth hemlock and huge cherry trees. Much of RGSP is a virtual wilderness with no trails, I hope to explore more of its isolated northern areas. Enjoy.
