“We here in Canada are watching horrified and speechless. We are listening to NPR and CBC from the NY and WASH. bureaus of NPR.

Latest I have is that a 5 story western section of the Pent was destroyed by a commercial aerocraft. A lt. col. got people to-gether for rescu7e, but heat was too intense; word id that it's an army section and crowded at that hour.

There has been another report of a com. airline crash near the Pent and another in Pa.

All aeroports are closed in Canada to receive U.S. internal flights in the air. All int. flights are cancelled and most re-routed here.

The State Dept. have asked Canada to apply max. security to U.S. consulates etc. The RCMP have been called out to do so. U.S. flags have been removed from buildings.
