I put in two nights on my original this weekend. I'm still happy with it - not much crinkly sound. The all season definitely would be the way to go when you need more insulation.

I kept mine in the bottom of the pack all winter long (just for emergencies - along with a light weight bivy) when I went snowshoeing - it held up well - no leaks.

Mine lost the crinkly sound a long time ago. The competition is a whole lot noisier.
Thanks jerbear.

tenacious tape
The key to neo air longevity is tenacious tape. They are fragile but the comfort and subsequent sleep are worth it.

I gotta say, I've been REALLY happy with my Exped. It's very comfortable, quiet, light and packs down to the size of a 16 oz beer can.

The Neoair xlite is an awesome pad. Pack size, weight and comfort are excellent! Crinkle sound barely noticeable, a non issue. This pad is great for side sleepers like me. Best night sleep in years

I love mine. I don't have any krinkle, but others I have backpacked with do.

Neoair Xlite
Got to try out my new Neoair Xlite (large) over the past 3 nights. Temps in the 40's and was fabulous over my Scout. No problems at all, treat with TLC as with all my gear.

My X-lite got quite a bit of use this summer and still holds air better than my BA insulated air core did the first night. I camped on snow on Mt. Rainier 3 nights - had a cold hip until I put my shell jacket beneath it, then slept warm.

It's a lot tougher than it looks. I forgot about the exhorbitant price after carrying it for a few weeks.
