nope - the park actually straddles two states - Virginia and Kentucky - the picture is actually from part of the park that is on the Kentucky side of the ridge

I have a closer shot somewhere.. it gives quite the optical illusion. The "causeway" is cool too, 700' drop on one side 1100' on the other, but its bit too scary. Kids loved it! ..well, when it was over. It was about ten miles or so from our tent to the causeway and back, and real buggy. Near mutiny on the way, lol.
