“MarkO: This summer I'm going up to the Canadian Border to hike the Cohos Trail back to the White Mountains, hang a right (west) toward Vermont and then probably another right at Maine Junction heading north on the LT.”

“I head out July 21st. I'll probably hit Maine junction a week or so into the hike and head North. Elle meets me for the weekend of the 8th. After that I'm pretty flexible and don't feel committed to any particular goal (though it would be way cool if I made it to the northern end of the LT which would put me in the Kingdom). If I can bum a ride with you if needed I could do Gore with you any time from August 10th to 19th.

Otherwise, It would be great to meet up with you at some point - or we could talk about next year... or a September/October weekend. end.”

“I was just up Liberty Springs trail (the trail we started out on in June '01) yesterday. I was going to do a loop with some friends, but recent rain made the Flume Slide trail seem dicey - so we did Liberty Springs both ways... we turned right at the ridge and visted the summits of Liberty and Flume.

This was my 7th time atop Liberty.”
