Dang, I bought one of the two tab Bear Vaults last year.

Zac, can you please take care of Yellow Yellow for us?

Touron season is over! The Saratoga Race Track held it's final races yesterday. Finally, thing can get back to normal around here.

I just love it when the tourons migrate back to their wintering lands. Unfortunately, we'll be seeing them in droves in another few weeks. This time, they'll be called leaf peeping tourons. Luckily, those type of tourons only show up for a couple of weeks and quickly migrate back to their wintering lands.

Yes before you know it, I'll start seeing in the paper when some dumbass wraps himself around a tree going 100mpg in a snowmobile.

I'm so not up with the hip lingo. I was thinking a touron was an animal or something! I figured after your comment about a snowmobile, they probably weren't animals... Or they're very talented animals!

Without those tourons spending their money the North Country could be even more of a welfare state than it is.

Touron would describe the rubes who stop up traffic into Assateague Island National Seashore to gawk at and take pictures of the fleabag wild horses.

Tourons are all over the place here.

WTF? Why?

I realize that this idea is probably too out of the box for the government to come up with, but why not just paint the yellow letters white?

more tax payer waste...

Too bad. There's an old brown, yellow sign by my brook that says, 'Stuntz Brook', so old that the letters are practically illegible. If they ever get around to putting up a new one, I intend to steal the old.

We're talking thousands of signs here. The Adirondack Park alone is larger than the state of Vermont.

Looks like there are some new slides in the high peaks thanks to Irean.

I've also heard the one on Cascade was extended and there may be a new one on the back side of Giant.

I wonder how long before these are safe to climb.

They have an opened canister on display at the Heart Lake ranger/welcome station. Quite impressive.
