I have free passes to the classic cinema in my little town. I want to see both Narnia and Harry Potter. Looking for input as I only have time for one this weekend.

Which one?

I really do hate remakes. First off, they never seem to be as good as the original, plus you already know the ending! I'm talking about King Kong and other movie remakes.

P.S. - I was on the top of the World Trade Center when the 2nd one was filmed. They had the King Kong model up there. I was allowed up because I was with my new boss that I worked for that one day since I found that he wanted an ass't/girlfriend. I was about 18 and he was....in his 40s or more. He paid me a weeks pay on that one day, took me to lunch and then the work day was over. It got worse, but I won't go into long details.

Last night both King Kong movies were on the tube.....one on TMC and the other on AMC. The original kicks the remake's ass.

But like you guys, I think this remake will be great---if the buzz is correct.

Okay Crash, you asked. Remember I was 18 and very naive and this was my first job. The owner who hired me had me come in for my first day on a Saturday, showed me around the office where they shipped cars overseas. Then he took me to lunch and happend to need to stop at his apt and asked me in, but I said I'd wait in the car.

Then he tells me he wants to drive me home and I say I'm not going home, my mom is in the hospital (my dad was already deceased) and I was going to visit her. He said he'd take me and wait too!!!! I made him wait a long time figuring he'd leave, but he was downstairs from the hospital waiting and this is coming from the city (Manhattan), now in Brooklyn.

Then he still wants to drive me home and I say I'm going to a park because it's night now and my friends will be hanging out there. He seemed disturbed by this, like he was jealous I was going to find my friends. He drops me off, and then I call my mom in the hospital and she says don't go back.

I call him on Monday and say I'm not accepting the job, so now he's a little worried, because an agency sent me and asked what I would tell them and I said that I would say I didn't want to work in NY and wanted to stay in Brooklyn. So then he just asks me to send back the check for my week's work which I would not be doing and he would send me a check of a days pay, which he did.

My life has been very interesting since I was single for 16 years in between marriages. I have a ton of strange stories, some I've told here already, but I'll keep the rest to myself. I may incriminate myself by my participation, lol:)

Put it like this ... in the 3 hours, there is bound to be some good points. Overall, I was disappointed. Don't have high expectations as most reviews, previews and hype would have you think.

Cheaper by the Dozen 2 is an argument for the cinematic equivalent of condoms.

I had to giggle a bit when I read this review.

I don't think even the beauty of Bonnie Hunt can save this film.

stove, I'm doing my version of the Amazon.com site where if you pick a book, they say, "people who bought this book, also bought these books".

Well, if you like Bonny Hunt, I would think you would also find Diane Lane to be very sexy and beautiful. She was in "Must Love Dog's" and "Under the Tuscan Sun" or something like that along with many other movies.
